Good News, Bad News

Good News: I don't have to have surgery! We went to the doctor on Monday and I didn't have any polyps, but Dr. Long said I have pseudo-polyps which are scalloped places that show that I had polyps and they are going away OR the polyps are coming. Regardless, I'm on birth control which should prevent them/get rid of them. So we wait.....

Bad News: My husband's grandfather passed away on Sunday and the funeral is tomorrow. I just read his obituary and it's one of the best ones I've ever read. You can read it here. I love the scripture in it...

Titus 2:7-8 sums up his belief. "In everything set them an example
by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness
and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those
who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad
to say about us."
"The time has come for my departure.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
